• Account details — name, email address and phone number when you register as a shopper, farmer or transporter.
• Delivery details — your suburb, address and delivery zone so orders reach you.
• Location — if you allow it, your approximate location to show farms and route days near you. You can decline and enter your area manually instead.
• Order and payment information — what you buy and the status of your orders. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
• Technical data — device, browser and usage information collected automatically to keep the site secure and working.

• To create and manage your account and process your orders.
• To coordinate collection from farms and delivery on your route day.
• To communicate with you about orders, support requests and important service notices.
• To keep the marketplace safe, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
• To improve our products and, where you have opted in, to send you marketing you can unsubscribe from at any time.

We share only what is necessary to fulfil your order — for example, giving a farm and the assigned transporter the details needed to prepare and deliver it. We also use trusted service providers (hosting, payments, email and mapping) who process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

You have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is wrong or no longer needed;
• object to processing or withdraw consent (for example, to marketing); and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No online service can be completely secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.

The marketplace is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
